We built PetLumina to help pet owners feel more confident wherever their adventures take them.

That’s why eligible PetLumina products are backed by our Lifetime Warranty.

If your PetLumina product develops a manufacturing defect or fails under normal intended use during the warranty period, we’ll help make it right.

What Our Lifetime Warranty Covers

Our Lifetime Warranty covers manufacturing defects and faults that occur during normal, intended use, including eligible issues with:

  • The TrailTag holder or housing
  • Fastening or securing components supplied with the product
  • Defects in materials or workmanship
  • The Find My-compatible tracker included with an eligible Complete Kit, where the failure is caused by a manufacturing defect

If your claim is approved, PetLumina may repair or replace the affected product or component, depending on the nature of the issue.

What This Warranty Does Not Cover

Our Lifetime Warranty does not cover:

  • Products that are lost or stolen
  • Loss of your pet
  • Normal cosmetic wear, scratches or discolouration
  • Damage caused by misuse, neglect or intentional damage
  • Damage caused by unauthorised modification or repair
  • Damage caused by use outside the product's intended purpose
  • Loss of individual components after delivery
  • Products purchased from an unauthorised third-party seller
  • Problems caused by third-party devices, services, networks or software rather than the PetLumina product itself

The warranty also does not guarantee that a tracking device will locate or recover a lost pet in every circumstance.

What Does “Lifetime” Mean?

For the purposes of our Lifetime Warranty, “lifetime” means the reasonable lifetime of the PetLumina product purchased by the original purchaser, rather than the lifetime of the purchaser or pet.

The warranty applies to the original purchaser and requires valid proof of purchase.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your PetLumina product has developed a covered fault, contact us at petlumina.team@gmail.com.

Please include:

  • Your order number or proof of purchase
  • A description of the problem
  • Photos or video showing the issue where appropriate

We’ll assess your claim and let you know the next steps.

For an approved warranty claim, we may provide a replacement component, replacement product or another appropriate remedy.

Warranty Claim Costs

If your product has a covered manufacturing defect, PetLumina will not charge you for the replacement or repair provided under this warranty.

Where applicable, we will also cover reasonable shipping costs associated with a valid warranty claim.

Changed your mind or decided TrailTag isn't right for you?

Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is separate from this Lifetime Warranty and allows eligible purchases to be returned within 30 days of receiving your order, including eligible change-of-mind returns.

Australian Consumer Law

Our Lifetime Warranty is provided in addition to your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You may be entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You may also be entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this Lifetime Warranty excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under Australian Consumer Law.
